    The Information System function, which comprises the design, implementation and maintenance of an infrastructure to support information flows across the organisation has traditionally been dominated by technology specialist.

    The knowledge base covered in this specialisation also includes awareness of the evolving environment affecting systems design, implementation and use. This specialisation creates an understanding of key management issues with respect to the use of computers and information systems in modern business applications.

    Part-time courses for working managers. Every candidate must have passed a Bachelor's degree examination in any faculty of Bombay University or of another University recognised as equivalent thereto; and acquired a minimum two year's work experience (Supervisory/Executive).

    Master's Degree Programme in Financial Management (MFM)
    A Three-year part-time course for working executives.

    Master's Degree Programme in Marketing Management (MMM)
    A Three-year part -time course for working executives.

    Master's Degree Programme in Human Resources Development Management (MHRDM)
    A Three-year part -time course for working executives.

  • Doctor of Philosophy in Management Studies (Ph.D.)

    The Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.) contributes significantly to the total research activity at the institute. This programme has already produced nineteen Doctors of Philosophy, who have done intensive research in diverse areas of contemporary relevance.
    The programme aims at helping the management practitioners, educationalists and scientists to develop advanced knowledge and skills through systematic examination of factors affecting management in business, industry and government.

    Eligibility Criteria

    A candidate applying for the course has to satisfy the following criteria:

    Master's Degree in Management Studies of this University. (MMS, MHRDM, MMM, MFM ) or recognised as equivalent.
    OR
    A Master's Degree in any faculty of this University or of any other University recognised as equivalent.
    OR
    A graduate in any faculty with a recognised education qualification such as ACA, AICWA, ACS, IAS, LLM. , with at least four years' executive experience in any business, Government, or professional organisation / industry.
    OR
    At least four years' teaching / research experience at post-graduate level.

    Admission procedure : Admission is based on a selection programme consisting of written tests & interviews. A candidate is allowed to submit his/her thesis after a minimum of two academic years. The programme can be pursued either on a full-time or part-time basis.

    Financial Assistance : Full-time candidates desirous of financial assistance can make applications to the University directly.

  • "Visristi" is the in-house research journal. It is an endeavor to publish original ideas and insights relevant in the Indian context. Visristi was born in 1996 and has since been received extremely well by both - the academic community and the corporates.

  • Catalyst Forum makes an attempt to bridge the gap between New Age Management thought and academic curriculum.
